For a night after sightseeing or a concert, this budget hotel does the job: it's clean, warm, reasonably comfortable and close to Tempodrom and its U-bahn station. The shower area is fairly comfortable, though a bit small, and breakfast was okay. You're not going to get anything extravagant, but you get what you pay for. A couple of things were frustrating. There aren't outlets by the beds, so charging devices was harder than it should've been. You also need your room key to use the elevator. I and several other people I saw were confused by that during the stay, since you can't get into any rooms without a keycard anyway.

I've stayed here many times, and it's my favourite hotel in Berlin, a perfect base for exploring the city. The breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. On my last visit, there was some confusion with one staff member, but the manager stepped in and sorted it out.

The rooms are small but tidy and clean, and the location was great. I missed having coffee or tea in the room. I know that's not really part of the Ibis concept, but that small touch makes a big difference to a stay.

We had a good stay, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. When we mentioned an odd smell in the bathroom, they fixed it quickly on the first night. We were a little disappointed when it came back slightly the next day, but appreciated how promptly they responded at first.

I'm here now and like this hotel. The rooms are a good size, the location is good, and Reichstag and Brandenbourg gate are a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast has lots of good choices, and the staff are very helpful. My only downside is there isn't a kettle or fridge in the room, but I'd book here again.
