ibis Berlin Hauptbahnhof

The location is great and the amenities are okay, but the staff came across as pretty arrogant, like they were doing me a favor. Their help seemed to stop where their own comfort began. When I had room problems, they were fine with telling me to find another hotel and reimbursing me instead of helping me move to another room, so that’s what I sadly ended up doing. There are nearby hotels at a similar price with better service.

The location is excellent, right across from the central station, and the staff were friendly. There’s no toothpaste in the bathroom or bottled water, and they suggest drinking tap water instead. The rooms don’t have refrigerators either.

Handy for a short visit, especially with Berlin Hbf so close. The rooms are functional and breakfast was okay. Staff could be a little more welcoming, and that wouldn’t cost a thing ☺️

I emailed twice after checkout to ask for an English invoice for my company and heard nothing, even after two weeks. I understand the hotel might not be able to issue one in English, but ignoring both messages is unacceptable. I didn’t expect this kind of unprofessional service from an international brand like Ibis.
