Ibis Styles Berlin an der Oper

The room was okay for my short stay, and the staff made me feel welcome. Breakfast was typical for a European hotel. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in, though I was tired enough not to mind much. It was fairly noisy on the main road, and on a warm night with the window open, that could bother some people.

There's a minibar, and the rooms stay warm in winter with temperature that's easy to adjust. Street noise barely bothered me. Ibis Styles an der Oper is on Kaiserdamm street, close to a metro station and Opera Theatre, with cafes nearby and a grocery store within walking distance. It suits people who don't have many demands. The bathroom is bright, but be careful of the slippery bathtub. Breakfast is average, with no fish, though there are a few German newspapers to read.

The underground station is just a short walk away, and the stay was inexpensive with a really good breakfast. Traffic can be noisy sometimes, but it settles down at night, and I slept very well.

The room was clean and I was generally happy with it, and the staff were pleasant enough, though nothing special. The old building shakes when the subway goes by. The WiFi was awful.
