The studio was great and comfortable. I mostly walked, though train stations were nearby, with a Lidl and a great Mexican restaurant around the corner. I'm not sure why I only got one coffee over two days, or why there was no do-not-disturb sign. Housekeeping knocked so quietly that I thought they were at another door, then walked in while I was finishing breakfast.

I was genuinely surprised because most of the reviews are quite positive. After this experience, though, I felt deeply uncomfortable and a bit unsafe staying there. I'm Asian, and given the political climate in Germany and around the world lately, the property manager's extreme hostility toward me made the encounter feel especially disturbing. It began with cleanliness problems, which can happen and can be fixed. I emailed to say the surfaces were dusty and the floor visibly dirty, and asked for a vacuum. I then wiped the floor and the cloth came up dark. I was disappointed, especially given my month-long stay, the €30 early check-in fee, and the €1,000 deposit. My friends had booked another apartment at the property for a weekend, so I also asked the property to check and reclean their place if needed before they arrived, in case it was in a similar state. I explained my disappointment with the apartment's upkeep compared with its advertising. Afterward, someone shouted at my door, barged in as soon as I opened it, got down on her hands and knees to wipe the floor with her hands, and yelled that I was lying. She kept saying she didn't believe me. I pointed her to the bin with the dirty wipes; she went quiet briefly, then accused me of smoking indoors. She took the dirty wipes out of the bin and left with them. I attached a photo of one wipe. She also yelled at me for asking them to clean my friend's room, as if I had no right to ask, even though she could simply have said no. Then she accused me of having my friend stay in my apartment without registering two people. I had to explain again that my friend was staying in a different apartment. I had also read that overnight guests were allowed anyway, even if that accusation had been true. It felt like she was determined to find some fault with me. Her behavior was bizarrely aggressive. I wasn't scared exactly, but I was very uncomfortable. When I calmly said she was yelling, she turned it around and said I was yelling. I asked if she actually wanted me to yell, and she shouted, “YES I DO.” I said no. It was a really strange altercation. UPDATE: I didn't get my €1,000 deposit back until I actively asked where it was. They sent it that same day. It gives me scam vibes.

I've stayed here several times and plan to come again. It feels like home when you're away from home. P.S. There's a breakfast buffet nearby called Cafe Des Schicksals. You'll miss out if you don't try it.

They sent us the wrong apartment number, and it took forever to get inside. The apartment itself was okay, but the awful service spoiled our precious trip. This is Wedding, so it isn't especially fancy or very safe at night. The service was EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT. There was just one small roll of toilet paper, nearly finished. When I politely asked at the lobby for another, the older woman with a blond bob and glasses yelled, “No, buy it yourself! WE ARE NOT FANCY HOTEL!!!” I wasn't asking for room service, just one roll. Even if they don't provide it, they could say so nicely. I later saw her yelling at other colleagues in the lobby too, which made the guests uncomfortable. I've travelled all over the world for more than 20 years and usually try to leave a good review. This was the RUDEST and most unpleasant staff I've ever encountered. That woman needs to learn how to do a service job.
