Landmark Am Kracauerplatz Hotel Berlin

The Wi-Fi was really unreliable, and often there was no connection at all. Aside from that, it’s a good hotel for a short weekend. The rooms are nice and about what you’d expect from a three-star place, neither better nor worse. It has what you need for a brief stay.

The location worked well for getting around: the station was about a 7-minute walk, a supermarket around 2 minutes away, and the shopping center on Bismarckstr. about 12 minutes on foot. For 40 a night, the room was a little smaller than I expected but still okay. It was clean and smelled good. They weren’t serving breakfast while I was there because there weren’t enough guests. The bed was so comfortable I overslept and missed my appointment the next day 😅😅😅. Good value for the price.

The shower was broken, though reception was nice. I didn’t feel welcome at all. They told us not to talk after 22:00 so people wouldn’t leave bad reviews. The toilet doors are almost transparent, which felt a bit weird.

The location was awful for us, with everything at least 25 minutes away. There was no air conditioning or Wi-Fi, bugs on the bed, and customer service was very poor. I’ve never seen a receptionist yell at a customer and speak so rudely. When I tried to get a refund, they refused and wouldn’t let me have one. Their non-refundable policy feels like a way to take your money. I wouldn’t pay a single penny to stay here, and I wouldn’t give it one star. Don’t book here. The people were stubborn.
