Leonardo Hotel Berlin KU'DAMM

Breakfast was generous and very reasonably priced, and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, and the staff were really helpful. I couldn't have asked for more and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Berlin.

For €5, you can use the sauna, which was good and had everything needed for a visit. The hotel is in a really good location and is good for the price. Parking takes a bit of figuring out, and I don't quite understand the high level of security, though maybe it's because of the area. There are apples when you come in, and breakfast too.

Cash was stolen from my room, 653, during my stay at Leonardo Hotel Berlin KU’DAMM from 13 to 15 December 2024. There was no sign of forced entry. I reported it to the police immediately, and later learned of another similar incident around the same time. The hotel management gave me no clear explanation, investigation summary, or resolution. I still had to pay the full bill despite the financial loss and distress. The response fell far short of the responsibility and care I expected from a hotel in this category. Update in response to the hotel's comment: the incident was in December 2024, a little over a year ago, not “over two years ago.” I had to contact the police myself as soon as I discovered the theft. Reception gave me only a phone number, and I handled the situation on my own. No manager met with us during the stay, no alternative room was offered, and we received no meaningful help. In an email dated 15 December 2024, the hotel's Operations Manager confirmed that another theft had happened in a different room during the same timeframe. After many years of international travel, this is the first time I've experienced a hotel room theft, and I've never seen such a limited management response to a serious security incident. It has seriously affected my trust in Leonardo Hotels as a brand. I'm still open to a constructive, professional resolution.

My wife spent more than two hours trapped in the bathroom because the door malfunctioned. No one came when she yelled and knocked. We asked for another room for her, but nothing was done. Reception staff were uncooperative and didn't even try to accommodate my family. One of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Terrible place and customer service. Never again.
