The apartment looks beautiful and the location is unbeatable, but it was quite dirty when we arrived. I thought it might have been a mistake, so I contacted customer service. After a lot of back and forth, and having to “prove” it hadn’t been cleaned properly, they sent someone from the cleaning team. When we got back, all they’d done was change the sheets. The dirt was still in exactly the same places. We also had to buy dishwasher tablets, even though there’s a dishwasher, and there were no cleaning supplies. We stayed a whole week, so the apartment just got dirtier and dirtier. They didn’t clean it, and we had no way to clean it ourselves.

I love the neighborhood, but this stay was a huge disappointment, especially since I was there for an extended stay. The apartment was dirty, the shower was broken, the kitchen wasn’t equipped well enough for cooking, and the walls were thin. Customer service was unhelpful too. The worst part was that another Limehome guest was able to open my apartment with their code. There are no locks on the doors. It felt genuinely unsafe, and I’d recommend against limehome.

The apartment stayed cool enough to sleep in even during the heatwave, when it was 39C, and it’s spacious. We were locked out twice over the week because the entry code suddenly stopped working, which was annoying. The service team on the phone were super helpful, though. Seems like there’s a fault in their system. One odd thing, there’s no beer or wine opener. We had to buy one just to drink Fritz Cola :D
