Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten Hotel

The breakfast buffet had a fantastic choice of fresh, delicious food, and there's a wellness area for unwinding after a long day. The staff were warm, friendly, and professional, which made the stay even nicer. Novotel Tiergarten is right by the beautiful Tiergarten, with an S-Bahn station close by, so exploring Berlin is convenient for business or leisure. Our room was roomy, modern, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The big windows overlooking the city or Tiergarten are a highlight. Some public areas and furniture do show the hotel's age, though. Even with a bit of wear, it's still a very good option in a prime Berlin location.

The generous breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our children especially enjoyed the playroom. We also appreciated the very convenient location and the great perk of free parking. We did miss having slippers in the room, though they were available if requested, and a freshly cooked breakfast dish. Maybe those just aren't standard at a 4-star hotel anymore.

The rooms were immaculate and stylish, and the service was impeccable. After checkout, the hotel lets you leave your bags and wait on the 6th floor, where there are showers and space to change, which was really handy. My only downside was the pricey breakfast, though children under 15 eat free when you're travelling as a family. Really great hotel!

We had a corner room for two adults and two kids. There was plenty of space for two queen or double beds, though the children's bed was a sofa bed. Free parking is available nearby, just outside the hotel, Monday to Friday. The staff made our stay special with a fruit basket and complimentary soft drinks. The receptionist also suggested a great local food restaurant just around the corner. A pool or jacuzzi would have been nice.
