The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had lots to choose from, though some pastries ran out quickly, so I couldn't get them every day. The hotel is well placed, with everything you need nearby. Our room was good and the bathroom spacious. I had a lovely time and will consider Novotel Mitte for my next Berlin visit. Thanks for the hospitality.

First visit and I'm impressed. The room is warm and comfy, and the TV is a newer model than you usually get in standard hotels, though sadly there's no casting. So, half a win. There's a sauna and gym, and parking costs 22 euros per night or day. Good value and nicely central.

8/10
The rooms were connected, fairly large, and clean. The location is good, about 3 minutes from the metro and a 20-minute walk from Alexanderplatz. Room 615 was fine, but the bathroom in the accessible room 613 smelled bad and needs work.

10/10
The play area kept the kids entertained, and breakfast had plenty of choice, something for everyone so you won't go hungry. Beds were a bit uncomfortable, but manageable for a few days. We came for the Christmas markets, and there were several within walking distance. Most places were about a 20-minute walk, with some destinations reachable in 30 to 35 minutes if you enjoy walking. Staff were friendly, helpful, knew the area, and gave us good directions.

The staff were really good with the children. They kept an extra eye out, didn't make us worry about mess in the dining room or restaurant, and worked with us to find creative solutions to the challenges of being away from home with kids. The play corner is fantastic and gets maintained every day. Really, really good staff.
