It gives you what you pay for, and I had no problems at all. The only thing I'd change is the lighting, those yellow spotlights right above the beds. The reception staff were super friendly, and the desk is open 24 hours. I've travelled a lot, and this place takes me back to the 90s. It's probably an old-school hotel, but it works.

The room looked like the photos and seemed fairly priced for what you get. There's a metro station right outside, which is great. But the bar downstairs plays loud music all night, until 7am, and I couldn't sleep at all. I wouldn't book here on a Friday or over the weekend.

The WiFi can be unreliable, and despite this being a non-smoking pension, the rooms smell of smoke. The women's toilet door won't close either. Still, it's okay if there aren't any other places to book.

The worst hotel in the world. The people aren't friendly, and there's no respect. Spend 30€ more and you can get a better, cleaner hotel. This place is no good 👎🏻

It's close to loepoldplatz and the subwaystation, so getting around Berlin is easy. The place is cozy, and you meet the owner at check-in. There was construction work in the building during our stay, though, so it got noisy now and then.
