The apartment itself looked as expected once we got inside, but arriving on Friday night, the entrance felt like walking into an abandoned building. We were five people staying Friday to Monday for three nights. I had read reviews on Airbnb and here; they were mixed, though I trusted Airbnb more since guests have to stay to review, and many of the reviews here seemed old. There were dusty clumps throughout the bedrooms despite the covers appearing clean. The toilet had been left unflushed and unclean, the shower head had mold, and some cutlery was dirty. The place also felt old, less renovated than it appeared, though it might suit someone looking for a typical eastern Berlin house. I messaged the owner about these issues and the Wi-Fi, which wasn't working at all, but got no response. That was unacceptable, and I left very dissatisfied.

I was unsure about the apartment when I first parked outside, but once I got in, it was bright, clean, airy, and really comfortable. Berlin apartments can look a little sketchy from the street and feel completely different inside. I was visiting my sister for five days and had rented through Airbnb. Don't judge the place before seeing the inside. Just keep an eye out for scammers too. I find Airbnb pretty trustworthy for a holiday stay.

The building entrance looked awful, like an abandoned place, and the apartment was really dirty. The dishwasher smelled like a dead animal. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the host never replied to any of my messages. A really bad experience.

Everything was clean and ready when we arrived, and using the key box for both check-in and check-out made things easy. We could also leave a little after the 10:00 AM checkout time without anyone rushing us. The Wi-Fi they promised didn't work, so neither did the TVs. Some parts of the apartment felt run-down, and the shower tiles were quite worn. The bed frame in the small room was broken, and the mattresses were very worn too. There was a fridge, dishes, a dishwasher, and coffee makers, though no pods.
