Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin

We were in town for a conference, and Liza at reception gave us a warm welcome right away. She was attentive and friendly, and explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and conference arrangements. The hotel was cozy, the rooms were clean, and service was excellent. Every staff interaction felt pleasant and professional. Liza's warmth made a lasting impression. We'd recommend it for business travel and conferences.

The hotel's central location, refined design, and comfortable, lively yet sophisticated atmosphere made my stay at Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin outstanding. My thanks go to Mr. Haykob at the front desk: he was efficient, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He made check-in seamless and remained attentive throughout my visit. His service set a remarkable standard, and I'm looking forward to returning to Berlin and staying here again.

Housekeeping were quick to respond to requests and bring amenities, which we appreciated. But cleanliness wasn't consistent: during our stay, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and daily service seemed limited to taking out rubbish and making the bed. We chose this room category at the Radisson Hotel in January for two main reasons: an Atrium view and a bathtub. Our confirmed booking was paid in full, but on arrival we were told the room was under renovation and we'd be put elsewhere. We hadn't been notified in advance, even though the room had been offered for those dates and the booking accepted. The alternative was described repeatedly as an upgrade because it had a cathedral view, but it had no bathtub. That didn't match a defining feature of what we'd booked. We asked for the room category we'd paid for, with an Atrium view and bathtub. They showed us rooms that had bathtubs but were dark and looked onto office buildings, so those didn't solve the problem either. The only explanation was the renovation, along with an apology. We understand renovations can be necessary, but they should be planned without disrupting confirmed reservations, and an apology doesn't make up for the compromised stay. The hotel is stylish and has real potential, but the way our reservation was handled fell short of basic five-star expectations. Guests should know that confirmed room features might not be honored.

The view was fantastic, the service excellent, and the restaurant deserves a mention all its own. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at, and the hotel itself is amazing. The only downside was the bar service. I've never seen staff move so slowly.
