Seminarhaus S1516

The place is clean and quiet, and Daniel was helpful. Check-in and checkout were simple and smooth. Bernauer Strasse U-bahn is only a three-minute walk away, so you can get anywhere in Berlin.

We rented the large, modern space for a week-long company event and would happily recommend it. It’s in a great spot with easy public transport access, the price is reasonable, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll book here again.

The apartment is calm and the room is very quiet. Check-in was quick and clear, with all the codes needed to get to the room. There’s a kettle, plates, mugs, and glasses, and the room itself is simple, with a bed, wardrobe, large mirror, desk, and chair. The apartment has been laid out well, almost like a large apartment split into several rooms, with sinks all over the place 😅. There are two showers, two small restrooms stocked with everything from hard to soft tissues, plus a large bathroom with a big tub. Worth every penny 👌🏻❤️.

The early 10am check-in is the one drawback. It isn’t always convenient, though manageable. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and the location is THE BEST. There’s a small shared kitchenette with everything you need, although, as another reviewer mentioned, instructions for using some things would be useful. I was worried Seminarhaus might feel like a hostel, but it really didn’t. It felt homey, almost exclusive, and was extremely clean. There were enough shower and WC facilities that I never had to wait, and I rarely saw anyone in the common area even though I knew others were there. The rooms are well insulated, so the mornings and evenings were quieter than I expected. I also liked having about three lighting options in the room and a balcony. For a solo traveler, it’s hard to find a better choice.
