We had everything we needed for a lovely few days on Lake Chiemsee in this clean, very nice apartment. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, and it’s close to both the lake and train station. There’s parking too. Communication was friendly and helpful throughout, and I can definitely recommend it.

We felt right at home in this spacious, modern holiday apartment. It was very clean and fully equipped, including a small kitchenette, and had a huge terrace and separate entrance. The railway line is right nearby, but it didn’t bother us at all. With the windows closed, we could hardly hear it. A great base for exploring Lake Chiemsee and the surrounding area.

The train station is close by, which made a day trip to Salzburg easy even though the weather was gloomy. We felt very comfortable in this lovely, clean apartment. It’s on the first floor with its own entrance and roof terrace, and has a kitchenette, small bathroom, dining area, and bed. There’s also a little bicycle storage room downstairs.

The apartment was very clean and has a lot of space, with a high ceiling and an open layout combining living, sleeping, kitchen, and dining areas. It has a separate entrance, roof terrace, small fully equipped kitchen, a double bed, and a sofa bed. I think it would suit two people once the mattresses are fixed. They were worn out, though the landlady hadn’t known about the problem and has now been told. The railway line is noticeable, but with the track-facing windows shut we hardly heard the trains. The station and a good bakery are both about a five-minute walk away. We didn’t mind the train noise, but there were other issues that led me to give just two stars. We were only told on the day we left that a child over 10 would cost an extra €5 per night. That would have been useful to know from the start. For the extra cost, we would have liked a blanket, which we ended up borrowing from friends. Even though our child wanted to stay with friends after the first night and the landlady expected that, a blanket and maybe an extra set of towels would have been appropriate from the beginning. We were paying full price for a child over 10, and the mattresses were still worn out. I would also have appreciated hand soap in the bathroom, especially during the pandemic. Soap is a basic for a holiday rental, and dispensers with soap cost under a euro. There was dish soap in the kitchen. The landlady was friendly and accommodating when we asked if another child might be able to stay.
