We had a beautiful view of the mountains, and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and very good, though the cake wasn't so good, which cost it a star. The window tables are usually reserved for hotel guests, so keep that in mind. For a weekend visit, booking ahead is highly recommended.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did eat at the restaurant twice for dinner and went back for breakfast. The food was excellent, and so was the service. It is a little pricey, but worth it.

We only tried the restaurant, not the rooms. The menu is decent and has plenty of vegetarian choices. The service could be better, since one or two of the staff weren't friendly.

On a warm summer day, it's a perfect spot for all kinds of food, from Schwarzwälder dishes to international options. And on a winter evening, you can warm your fingers again over a cozy dish made in the Black Forest.

The food was exceptional, and the people really care. The best service I've had in Germany!
