The view is stunning, and the restaurant 50 metres away is fantastic. The rooms are a little small, but the owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A great place to stay.

Daniela and her husband are gems, such kind and exceptionally good hosts. They welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. We'll definitely return. It's best to call and book directly, since booking platforms make it too expensive and are bad for the hosts. Thanks so much for having us!

We were just passing through on a hike and stayed one night. Everything was fine: the place was clean, breakfast was good, and communication beforehand went smoothly. I can definitely recommend this guesthouse.

The only good thing was breakfast. We stayed in April 2025, and both our room and the breakfast room were cold. Room service was disappointing. We cleaned the bathroom ourselves, and the bed frames couldn't be adjusted. They looked like they might date back to the Neapolitan period.

Pension Jägerhof sits in the Dorf district of the Bernauer Valley, with a bus stop nearby. You can also hike to the Krunkelbachhütte. We were greeted with a smile and a welcome drink, and the warm-hearted hostess clearly runs the guesthouse with passion and care. The rooms are excellently furnished, and the breakfast buffet has everything you could want. We'd gladly come back.
