The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were a delight. We had the buffet breakfast, which was well worth 11 Euros. This was our favorite place to stay on our 10-day trip to Germany. It's a bit out of the way, but after busy days at Bavaria's tourist sites, that was just what we wanted. Pay a little extra for a room with a view if you can. Sitting on the balcony, you can take in the rolling hills, Swiss Alps, huge sky, horses and cattle below, and the old Church on the hill behind the place. You can hear the livestock bells tinkling, birds singing, an occasional church bell marking the time, and a gentle breeze in the trees. The views felt like a dream, and the atmosphere was so relaxing I could have stayed a month. Paradise!

After hiking through the Feuersteinschlucht and up the Jägersteig, we stopped in for a treat. It was very chaotic with so many people, but the kitchen seemed to be handling things really well. The ice cream was excellent, and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious.

We used this as a stopover on our way to Italy. The room was very practical for two adults and two small children, and the staff were really friendly. The food was OK, and breakfast had everything you need. The location is fantastic, with stunning views. Make sure to visit the platform beside the church tower!

The views are beautiful, and the location is ideal for hiking or walking in nature. The staff were friendly, and the food was very good too. I can definitely recommend it!
