The ladies who run the place are absolute sweethearts, and the hotel has an old-fashioned charm. My room was comfortable and well furnished, the breakfast was good, and you can see Burg Hohenzollern directly from the hotel. There’s a pretty Fresco by the front entrance, and it’s a short walk from Hechingen Hauptbahnhof.

The historic house has been restored beautifully, and the suite we stayed in was lovely. The family who owns it were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We made a quick one-day trip to Hechingen to see the castle and found a beautiful room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was fantastic, and our host was wonderful. When neither bank ATM would work with our card and we couldn’t find anywhere to exchange money, she drove us to the castle since we couldn’t get a taxi. For anyone using American banking, the ATM inside the castle worked for us, and we got a taxi back after the tour. The castle bus schedule seemed different from the one online, so I’d suggest staying at least two days. I’d give Hotel Unsere Stadvilla 10 stars if I could. Thanks for a great stay!

We were sorry to leave. The owner and her daughter were so kind and spoke excellent English, and breakfast was among the best we had on our whole trip in Germany. The rooms were immaculate and modern, while the building itself still has lots of character and history. A beautiful hotel.

The room was comfortable and nicely relaxed, and guests can use the parking area. Breakfast was delicious too. If you’re visiting this village, this hotel is a great choice.
