Breakfast had everything we needed and was plentiful, and the hosts were very friendly. We had a wonderful short break. The rooms were clean and the mattresses were fantastic. The location is great too, with the Moselle banks close by, where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the delicious wine. Thank you for such a lovely time.

Glad we only booked a short trip. The place felt completely uninviting. The entrance was very dirty and everywhere smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There were cobwebs and dead flies in the rooms and bathroom, still there on our third day. Crumbs under the tables in the breakfast room kept piling up each day. Breakfast wasn't appealing either, with store-bought, brightly colored Easter eggs.

We stayed four nights in spacious rooms with everything well equipped. The hostess was so friendly and helpful, and told us all about Bernkastel, the surrounding area, and the beautiful Moselle River. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks, we’ll be back!

The area around Bernkastel-Kues is fantastic, and the German wines are well worth trying. We first tasted a wine from the Hauth winery at the Brückekeller, and both of us liked it best. The next day, we drove to their shop and bought a case of six bottles. We’d have bought more if Bernkastel-Kues weren’t so far away, but it’s too far to make that drive back and forth.
