Hotel Rosengarten

The pizza was good, and our waiter was really friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place!

When rooms in town were hard to find, we stayed a little farther out and it turned out to be a great alternative to the old town's hustle and bustle. My single room was a good size, very clean, and quiet upstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a taxi to town costs €15. You can get a drink late at the bar next door, and there's also food available at the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits in a beautiful, very quiet spot overlooking the vineyards. Bernkastel-Kues is a bit out of the way, though that's not the hotel's fault. The rooms are small but functional, with a wardrobe, bed, and a very spacious bathroom. Highly recommended.

The bathroom had seen better days, with black grout in the shower and dirt between the shower door and wall. Showering there was a real ordeal. The double room was disappointing too: with two of us, we were practically stepping on each other's feet, with just one chair and a table that was too small. I won't book here again.
