We stayed in the Schneewittchen room (Snow White), and the view through the windows was wonderful. It’s a lovely little hotel, with beautifully decorated rooms and an awesome staff.

We had a fantastic stay for New Year’s Eve. The fairy tale show was amazing, and the fireworks on the mountains were beautiful. The workers were all welcoming and friendly, and the food was very tasty. This place was out of this world, and we’d recommend it and come back next year!

The setting feels like it belongs in a storybook, and even a stroll around the charming surroundings is a treat. The dining options were delightful, too. Inside Märchenhotel, the attention to detail is remarkable, and each comfortable room has its own story. The staff made every interaction feel warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to make the stay special. Their service was impeccable, and they made me feel like a cherished guest. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to a world of wonder. Märchenhotel is a destination that fills you with joy. I can’t wait to return and make more magical memories. We’ll be back soon!

Maybe the change of ownership is behind the decline of what used to be a cozy, charming hotel and restaurant. My experience was below mediocre. The food came out like canteen fare: cold schnitzel with premade potato salad on a big, empty plate. Very sad.
