We’ve already booked another stay. Nearly everything came close to a five-star experience. There was always plenty of parking around the hotel, even without marked spaces, and staff in reception, housekeeping, and all the dining areas were great. The pool was just the right temperature. I was surprised the sauna required clothes, and the sunbed area could use some improvement.

The food and accommodation were both great. I had a wonderful time here.

It’s an easy place to check in and out of, thanks to the very helpful reception staff. The bike garages are handy, and there are lockers for charging. We had two dinners, both very good, and service at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Breakfast itself was a little disappointing: there was Weißwurst but no Brezeln, and although the selection was fairly good, the quality wasn’t that high and the presentation did nothing to make it look more appetizing. The hotel is comfortable and only a few steps from Lake Starnberg, but there’s no air conditioning or ventilation, so the rooms can get really hot. It was very clean, with top-notch housekeeping. For charging, there aren’t wall outlets unless you unplug a lamp or the TV.

The bowling room was excellent, and the restaurant was outstanding. Rooms are spacious too. The hotel is near the lake, with breathtaking views.

The pool was a lot of fun, and it’s so easy to get to the lake. Staff were professional and friendly, the amenities were wonderful, and there are some lovely people running beautiful cafes and bakeries right next door. 10/10, highly recommend! Just know you’ll need to drive about 10 minutes to reach a grocery store in the next town, though the towns are lovely too. DO A BALLOON RIDE!!
