We had a lovely break and would gladly return. The ground-floor holiday apartment is tastefully furnished and has its own sauna, and the hosts were very easy to deal with. Besigheim’s old town is around a 10-minute walk away, with parking right outside the building. The nearby railway line is the one drawback, though it wasn’t very busy while we were there.

The owner is very friendly and keeps the apartment in great condition. It has a comfortable bed, a lovely large bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a small kitchenette. Wi-Fi is reasonably fast, and you can park right in front. My only gripe is that the fridge has no freezer compartment, which would be useful for keeping ice cream. Otherwise, it’s a really nice place with good amenities.

The apartment is well furnished and equipped, including air conditioning. A large supermarket and bakery are within walking distance, as is the historic center, with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
