Dorint Parkhotel Jordanbad Biberach an der Riß

The room was so basic, with hardly any counter space and not even a luggage rack. We had a Superiorzimmer mit Doppelbett, and I wish I’d checked the reviews before booking. There are only two charging points for electric cars, and they’re a fair way from the hotel. Shuttling the car back and forth on a cold night wasn’t much fun. Also, charging 3 Euro for each pair of slippers at a wellness hotel felt pretty funny. I won't return. Thanks for the “warm hospitality”. I wouldn't give another Dorint Hotel a chance either.

This has become another ordinary business hotel, and the price feels high for what you get. Since Dorint took over the House this summer, it seems to have lost much of the charm the previous owner built up over the years.

The Therme was packed over the holidays, and finding somewhere to sit was really difficult. We also waited a little over an hour for food at the Jordanbad Restaurant on January 2nd, which was stressful with two children. At Feuerstein, though, both the service and food were prompt. Daher unfortunately wasn't in the bar, and the service and quality there felt a bit short. We’ve been coming to Jordanbad for 15 years and still enjoy visiting. It’s good to see the standards hold up, and all the staff are incredibly nice. Our room was clean and neat. I did miss the minibar and the little cake in the room this time, but that’s just me. I’ll still be back.

We enjoyed the thermal baths and spa, and both were lovely. Dinner was fantastic, with very attentive, kind wait staff, and breakfast was tasty too. The historic building has been renovated nicely. The rooms run a little small, but that didn’t bother us. A wonderful hotel.
