I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable, and the WiFi was fast. It's one S-Bahn stop from FFM airport, then about a two-minute walk from Kelsterbach station.

What a ridiculous hotel. There's no elevator, and the staff just stood by while I struggled to carry my luggage up to the second floor. Looking at the reviews now, I see other people have found them rude too.

Restaurants are within walking distance, and the train is only a few minutes away on foot, just one stop from the airport. The hotel itself was wonderful, very clean, and had good staff.

I spent five nights at Hotel Athen in Kelsterbach on a business trip to Frankfurt. It's conveniently located near Aldi, several Turkish restaurants, the industrial area and Frankfurt Main Airport. My room was quiet and clean, and having a mini fridge and free coffee machine was a nice extra. Paid parking is available on site if you're driving. The experience was satisfying overall. The check-in cutoff is 23:00, which can be awkward if you're arriving late.

They won't let you check in after 22u, even if you've called ahead to say you'll be late. They then ask for an extra 20 EUR late check-in fee, and if you refuse, they call the police. That charge wasn't stated in the booking terms. This feels like a scam, not a hotel.
