Hotel Badischer Hof

The breakfast was excellent, and I’d totally recommend a visit. There’s a nice pool in front of the hotel, with a river and plenty of vegetation behind it. The rooms are clean and nice. 👌🏼✨

The room with a balcony was modern, spacious, and clean, and we enjoyed the indoor pool’s features, including the waterfall and bubbles. We also had very nice meals in the evening, and the staff were really kind. One small thing, the boss seemed very stressed, and I didn’t feel very welcome when we met her. Still, we’ll come back to Badischer Hof.

The room was clean and spacious, and I liked the larger relaxation area, which is designed like a mine and tunnel. But the wellness area was a letdown for its size, including the saunas. At 7 AM, the wellness jets weren’t working as advertised, including the neck shower, massage jets, and counter-current system. The evening meals were well prepared, though the side dishes didn’t feel creative or seasonal. Lunch at the buffet was more like a student canteen, with Pommes and fried chicken. There was also a persistent smell of grease and fryers throughout the main building. For close to 1000 EUR for two nights, the value was at the low end for me. I’d rate the stay between 2 and 3 stars.

We hadn’t booked, so we were lucky to find a table. The evening meal was fantastic, and both the food and service were so good. We all left extremely happy and very full.
