The interior was nice, but that was about the only thing I enjoyed. I found a disgusting dumpster nearby, and it bothered me that they throw unfinished food away instead of donating it. The food I was served was disgusting too, and the service felt ignorant and disrespectful. There were bedbugs and cockroaches in the room. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the hotel to the town centre, where there are nice shops and restaurants as well as a big church. You can also head out for a walk in the countryside quite easily. The hotel itself is clean and modern, with warm, comfortable, spacious rooms, and the people running it are friendly and helpful. We had a set-menu dinner on Saturday evening that was genuinely delicious and very, very good.

The room was cozy and really nice. I arrived a little late with my bike, but thanks to Anna I could still stay, and I was able to pay in the morning. Communication was superb and everything was handled perfectly. I'd give the staff more than five stars if I could. Thanks!

We both enjoyed the Schweinelendchen, and also tried the excellent Dish of the day, Gemüsecurry. The decor is very stylish, and the two serving ladies were friendly. Even with drinks, the bill came to under €50. It's in a very quiet, posh village with no through traffic, so it has to be good to survive on its reputation, as well as being part of a hotel. Beside it there's a well and religious site dating back over 1200 years, now surrounded by upmarket apartments, all uniquely German.
