The food was the highlight for me. I tried the turkey escalope with mushrooms and croquettes on another day, and that suited my taste much better than the yeast dumpling. I had the small dumpling, which was still pretty large, and found it chewy and dry, though the sauce was really great. The goulash soup starter was nicely seasoned and spicy, but had only one piece of meat. Apparently that's quite common in Germany? The restaurant is in a really secluded area, reachable by car or bus. Inside it's a bit old-fashioned and dark, but clean, and the toilets could use some work or updating. The serving staff were very friendly and tried to fulfill extra wishes, and the food arrived quickly. But talking about other customers who were dissatisfied is a no-go. If you love German cuisine and don't mind the location, it's a wonderful place to eat. My ratings were 2.5/5 for location and interior, 3.5/5 for service and food, and 3.25/5 overall.
