Room 102 at Brera apartments was clean and modern, on the first floor above the Wolkenkratzer bar/cafe and facing the street. We stayed four nights for Frankfurt’s Christmas markets after booking through Airbnb. Reviews had made me worry about the location and noise, but there was no need to be concerned. It’s a good location, and the price is reasonable compared with other options. I’d stay again. The shower head clasp wouldn’t stay in the position we chose and slowly slid down to its lowest setting. Sound insulation is very limited, so you can hear the busy street, trams, and drunken behavior in the evenings. It didn’t bother us much, and we had no trouble sleeping. The apartment is at the end of one of the livelier streets. Turn right and you head toward the red light district and edgier areas. Turn left and within a few minutes you’re among skyscrapers and clean streets.

Clean, comfortable, and well equipped, this was a wonderful apartment in a good central location. I’d definitely stay here again.

The reception is only open on some days, which is really inconvenient if there’s an emergency. I also wouldn’t take apartment 107. I was very disappointed with it because the A/C units are right under the windows, so basically you don’t sleep. I’m not sure why they gave me the hotel’s worst room.

There are plenty of cafes, bars, and supermarkets near Brera Serviced Apartments Frankfurt Oper, which is centrally located about a five-minute walk from Frankfurt Central Station. I booked a studio, and it was nice and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything I needed. The WiFi worked perfectly. I’d definitely stay there again on my next trip to Frankfurt.

I loved the location. Being near the main train station makes getting around easy, and there are shops and restaurants everywhere. Areas around main stations are more “lively” in any city, but this one is far better than, say, LA, DC, or Chicago. Nearby construction never bothered me. It’s a nice, modern place with nice people. Having more space and a kitchen is much better than staying in a hotel. I’d definitely come back.
