Our extended family stayed here for an April long weekend, and we all loved this beautiful holiday home. There was plenty of room and lots of quiet corners for everyone, young and old, along with thoughtful little touches for the kids. We’re still talking about it and have agreed to return to the same place at the same time next year. Just one small suggestion: a chair or stool in the ground-floor bedroom would be handy for putting clothes on. That’s not meant as a criticism at all. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, fully recommended!

We stayed in the house with 11 people in October 2021, and can only recommend it with reservations, despite the beautiful location. It might be more appealing in warmer months. The upstairs heating wasn’t working at first. The owner refilled the water after we called, but that didn’t help much, and the situation remained unsatisfactory. The shower drains were clogged, the sauna needed water refilled while in use, and the bedrooms didn’t have storage for clothes. A floor plan in the listing would have helped, since the pictures alone were confusing. The stairs are very steep and should be mentioned, as older people can have trouble with them. There was also no option to pay just for some of the linens, such as sheets; the full price applied. The owner said we should have contacted him in advance to discuss it, but how are you meant to do that when booking through a portal?

There was room for all four families in this spacious house, spread across three floors. The only real trouble was the two leather sofas in the living room. They were unbelievably uncomfortable 🙈😂

We had a lovely stay with our large family. The house has almost everything you could need, though the downstairs bathroom has no lock and the grill is too small and not well cared for. We'd happily come back.
