The place itself was quiet and clean, and deserves five stars as far as that goes. But WiFi, which was a key factor in my hotel search, didn’t work in my room. The response was, “Reception is closed, please contact us in the morning.” Cancellation would have cost the full price, so I’m leaving a two-star rating because of the WiFi.

The room needed a much better clean. There was dust in the corners, and black spots and rust in the shower. The building really needs renovation too. If you have higher standards, this isn’t the place for you. Not worth the money.

A nice, fairly cheap B&B about 3 km from the old city. The rooms are big and clean. There’s parking for five or six cars, at €6.50 per night.

Spacious, comfortable rooms and really good beds made this a lovely place for a couple of days in Dresden. It’s close to Altstadt, with convenient transport.

Don’t go. We were four people and got badly bitten by bugs there. They even came back with us in our luggage to Berlin. What a nightmare, disinfecting everything and trying to get rid of them. Don’t go.
