Blankenheim is a lovely base in the heart of the Eifel, near the source of the Ahr, with beautiful countryside and scenic drives to places like the Moselle. It’s especially good for walking, and the area suits hikers and cyclists too. We’ve been coming to Brusseler Hofchen every year for forty years and still love it. Our apartment in the converted farmhouse is beautiful and has everything we need, and the hosts are always friendly and helpful. They also have rooms for shorter stays.
