The campsite was quiet enough for us, with birds in the morning and a little distant concert noise on Friday night. My husband didn’t even hear it. We had a good stay in our camper and thought the price was fair. The staff were so lovely and even offered us eggs, which we sadly couldn’t take because we had no way to cook them. I’d come back, though the showers could be cleaner. They weren’t dirty, maybe a 7/10, but there’s room to improve. There was no toilet paper or hand soap either. It’s cash only, too. With better showers and those basics supplied, I’d give it five stars.

After a swim in the decent pool, we walked up the gentle hill past a nice farm to the little village for food and drinks. We preferred the second bar farther uphill: it was better and cheaper than the lower one, though the lower bar stayed open later and cost quite a bit more. I always appreciate that sort of detail in a review. We had a spacious spot for our motorcycles and tent. The campsite itself was brilliant, with clean, modern amenities. The woman at reception spoke English better than I do and gave us a generous discount, saying, “life is expensive enough.” Hard to disagree.

Really peaceful place to camp, and the staff were friendly. The downside was the old, grubby toilet block. Remember to bring your own toilet paper.
