The owner was friendly and had plenty of useful information, maybe a bit too much of it during check-in. It's a very quiet spot, but without a car you're stuck without public transport into the city centre.

The room and toilet were clean, and the shared kitchen was okay. The TV is tiny, around 17 inches, and the internet kept dropping every three minutes or so. The host had loads of rules and wasn't very kind.

The setting is beautiful and the accommodation is good. The shared kitchen has three hot plates, plus a few pans to use.

It's a peaceful, lovely area, with shops, the zoo and other attractions nearby. Communication was great, and everything was explained in a friendly, thorough way. I didn't have my 2 1/2-year-old son with me, but the beds had been arranged so he couldn't fall out, something you don't always find. We had a great stay.

The room was quite spacious, with everything needed in the bathroom, and the place was very focused on cleanliness and sorting waste. Before arrival, I got a PDF explaining how to enter, where to park, and where to find shops and restaurants. It was well run and good value for the price. I'd gladly return.
