We found everything we needed for a comfortable, restful stay, and it would work well for families with children. The apart hotel was spacious, clean and quiet, with public transport just across the street. There's a mini kitchen for making coffee or keeping something simple, a big supermarket on the corner, and safe parking outside.
We've stayed here twice now, in rooms 4 and 9, and both were great. I'd recommend room 8, though, because its separate living room is handy when one person wants to rest while the other is doing something. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. I thought there'd be a microwave, but it was an oven, so next time we'll get frozen food from Lidl around the corner. We asked about checking out late the night before and got the go-ahead in the morning: 3pm instead of 1pm for an extra €30. Great service, and we'd recommend the hotel.
We picked this quiet hotel for the Spiel Essen exhibition, and it worked out perfectly. It's in a great spot, very close to the train station.
There was plenty of room, everything was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Lidl was just downstairs, too. We felt we got good value for money, and I'd definitely recommend this place if you're after a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. We'll be back.
The hotel sits above a Lidl and a cafe, and we went to both often. Bus stops are right out front, while the tram stop is behind the building, and we used the tram a lot. There's also a river about a 10-minute walk away. We'll stay here again on our next trip.
