That breakfast was gorgeous, unlike anything we’d had before. We spent five days here during a four-week road trip around Germany, using the hotel to visit the national park and the beautiful Bavarian Forest. From room 32, the balcony view was amazing. It’s about a ten-minute trip into town, which was no problem for us.

It was decent, but the price felt too high.

We especially enjoyed sitting down to breakfast with that wonderful view across Bodenmais. The hotel itself was fantastic, and our well-furnished room had everything we needed. In the evenings, we could get a few drinks and delicious tarte flambée at the Woid Glam hut. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind and friendly. We’d love to return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very good. For the price, the rooms are nicely furnished. Still, the breakfast options felt rather limited to us, and we thought it was odd that the hotel wasn’t identified as vegetarian. There’s no indoor pool, so why is one offered at all? I’d appreciate more transparency about that.
