There was plenty of room in the apartment, but the kitchen setup fell short for our family of four. We were missing measuring cups and there weren’t enough pots and pans. The room and bathroom could also use a more thorough clean and an update, and there was no microwave.

The bedroom’s large bed was comfortable, and there was room for two of us to eat breakfast on the balcony. The kitchen had a decent amount of equipment, though it didn’t have a dishwasher. The apartment was clean. It’s beside the road, but traffic was very light in the evening.

The rooms were clean and modern, though the place is on the edge of town. Breakfast was good apart from the first morning, when it was very sparse: just 3 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese. Also, towels left on the floor after use should be replaced instead of being hung up again.

Breakfast had a lot to choose from, including rolls, muesli, cornflakes, yogurt, fruit, and homemade items. We also got great tips from the hosts for Bodenmais and nearby places. It’s a relaxed 10-15 minute walk to the town center. Our short stay was comfortable, with clean rooms, good beds, and modern bathrooms. We were welcomed warmly and would happily stay again. It’s a charming little place at a good price, and we felt right at home.
