Hammerhof

Really nice hotel! 😊

Really great.

The warm pools, indoors and out, and all those loungers made the spa easy to enjoy. We also loved the treatments there. Back at the room, there was loads of space, nice furnishings, and even a second TV. Everything stayed clean, with fresh spa towels each day. Meals were a highlight too. Breakfast had a big selection, including Rosi's freshly made eggs, which were divine. In the evening there was a generous salad buffet and three mains to choose from, so something for everyone. What really made it feel special was how many regulars there were, and how naturally the attentive, friendly staff knew some of them by their first names. It felt like spending a holiday with friends, for real. We were there for five nights in February and came home refreshed. We’ll be back in summer, and can’t wait to see the garden.

Having our own assigned table at breakfast and dinner was a lovely touch. Ours was tucked away from view, so breastfeeding was private, and there was plenty of space for the stroller too. We came for a long family weekend with our children and grandchild. The spacious double room had a living room and a separate bedroom; the suite had a big living area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. They also provided a crib for our four-month-old grandchild. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
