A short walk from the center of Bodenmais, with friendly, helpful service and nice rooms.

We were relieved to have booked just one night. Of the three rooms we reserved, one was clean and perfectly fine. The second hadn't been cleaned well, with hair in the bathroom and chips left under the table by previous guests. The third was shocking: large, obvious mold stains covered the ceiling, corners, and window. I can't understand how guests could be checked into a room in that condition.

A good base for hikes, and plenty of restaurants are within a 15-minute walk. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, though a bit dated. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast and its view. It worked very well for our holiday.

We had a spacious balcony, and the room was clean and had what we needed, even though it wasn't ultramodern. The sitting area was practical, the TV was large, and the bed was really comfortable, with a slatted base and adjustable headrests. Breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from. Nothing was missing.

The owner looks after guests personally, and in the evening his cozy little pub serves delicious food. The guesthouse is easy to recommend: the rooms feel cozy, and the bathroom, though small, is quite adequate. The breakfast buffet is carefully put together and has a wide choice. Simply wonderful!
