The spa package made our long weekend especially relaxing, with honey and lava shell massages for the ladies. We loved the restaurant and breakfast, the setting, and the personal attention throughout our stay at Sauerländet Hof. Kerstin, Christoph and Familie Stöber made us feel so welcome that it was a bit like being at home. We hope to return in summer. Kind regards, Oleksandr

The food and hotel were both really nice, and the price felt good for the quality. But what stood out most was the service. It was the best service experience I've had, even compared with Michelin star restaurants. I can't think of anything negative.

Whenever I'm in the area, I try to book here again. The hosts are incredibly friendly and always do their best to make the stay just right. The rooms are great, there's lots of parking, and it's a handy starting point for a bike ride or a walk. The restaurant is worth trying too, the food is very tasty.

The road outside was the one drawback. The room insulation is good, but opening a window meant dealing with traffic noise day and night. Still, our room was lovely, the restaurant was welcoming, and the owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating that I'd definitely come back for their fantastic service. Just be aware that not every room has been renovated.

We only stopped for lunch during a trip, but the lovely staff, delicious food, and beautiful space have made us want to come back and stay. I'd really recommend it.
