We stayed four days in Bernau am Chiemsee on the way back from Croatia, and it was a fantastic stop. The large, bright, modern apartment had everything we might need, with a lovely setting just a stone's throw from Lake Chiemsee. Bernau and Prien are only a few minutes away by car. Dear Doris, thank you again for such a warm welcome and for taking care of everything, even supplying coffee beans for the great coffee machine! We accidentally left two jackets behind when we departed, and the hostess kindly mailed them to us. She sees that as part of the service, but I don't take that sort of kindness for granted. We'll definitely return to Lake Chiemsee, especially because of lovely people like you. ❤️

We felt welcome and looked after straight away, thanks to the landlady's warm, friendly manner. The apartment was cozy and inviting, and we loved having breakfast or dinner on the balcony with the nearby mountains in view. It's peaceful and away from the crowds, while Chiemsee's shore is still just a short hop away. We could also store our bikes under a roof. We'd gladly come back anytime!

Check-in and payment were easy, and the landlady was always reachable by mobile. When the power went out, she sorted it remotely very quickly. She's kind and incredibly accommodating. The apartment has a great balcony seating area with a parasol, plus a huge smart TV in the living room. Towels and bed linen were provided, and it has everything you might need, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, washing machine, and fully automatic coffee machine. Simply wonderful. I can highly recommend it for families with children.

We had a great time as a family in this beautifully furnished apartment. The spacious living room has a large sofa and plenty of comfy cushions, and there's a big dining table too. We also appreciated the balcony and its lovely view, along with the Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, and large smart TV. The owners were very friendly, and the place had everything we could wish for. We did miss having fly screens, since opening the windows let insects in. The owner said she already had screens and planned to install them soon, so future guests shouldn't have that problem. Owner: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Apartment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hostess took such good personal care of us, and we'd be happy to return. The place was very clean, recently renovated, and furnished in a modern style.
