LuCA HOTEL

We used the Bodenmais AktivCard for two free summer rodel runs, a free ski lift ride to the top of Silberberg, and a tour of the old Siver mine, which closed in the 1960s after more than 500 years of operation. The hotel and proprietors were lovely, and the staff did a lot to make us feel at home. There’s a pool and sauna, a garden in front of the pool, a nice breakfast area that also serves as a restaurant and lounge, plus a smaller traditional bar in a rear annex. The restaurant was just getting started. The new proprietors had only recently taken over, so there were some technical start-up problems and minor maintenance work underway. The staff’s care more than made up for it. We stayed three nights and should have stayed longer. I recommend this place.

The children especially loved the pool and sauna, which were cleaned and looked after very carefully. The hotel was wonderfully clean and comfortable, with a magnificent view and a plentiful breakfast with lots of variety. Many thanks to the polite, accommodating staff.

The staff were so friendly, always smiling and attentive to every request. We felt welcome right away, and it seems especially well suited to families with children. Breakfast was fantastic, with quality and service clearly taken seriously and nothing missing for us. The whole hotel was clean and well cared for, and the pool and sauna were always ready and inviting for a relaxing break. It was our first stay at Hotel Luca, and we were absolutely thrilled. We’ll definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We stayed for three days, and breakfast had some different dishes on different days, with plenty of variety. Everything was very clean, and the small sauna and pool were just right for relaxing. The staff were really friendly and helpful, so it was a very pleasant stay.
