A great base for shopping, restaurants, and other activities, and well located for visits to the Bayrischen Wald. The owners were friendly and competent, and the house and rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was lovely and delicious, and it was clear it had been prepared with care. The host family were especially kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. At Pension Balerwald, the rooms in the holiday apartment were clean and well maintained, and the service was excellent, always friendly, helpful, and attentive. We felt completely at ease and would love to return. Highly recommended!
