Great views and welcoming hosts. The trail to Riessloch Waterfall and Grosser Arber peak starts right behind the Pension.

May was wonderfully peaceful, and the location was perfect, with waterfalls nearby. The decor was beautiful, and the cleaning was so meticulous that the windows were polished and the floors clean enough to eat off. I really admire the owner’s attention to detail. Breakfast tasted good, though it was fairly average. We missed sweet pastries, sausages, and bacon.

The location was great, quiet but still close to the center of Bodenmais and the best hiking trails. Our room was very clean and cozy, and the hosts made us feel welcome right away with their exceptional friendliness. Breakfast was generous and tasty, just the thing to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Pension Zur Klause and will definitely return. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for relaxation and warm hospitality.

The balcony view across Bodenmais and the surrounding area is fantastic. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone, and the hosts were friendly and happy to help plan tours. It’s a perfect base for hiking and skiing. We’d gladly come back.
