The hotel and restaurant are good, but some of the rules feel outdated and too rigid for today. Guests have to provide personal details, including a mobile phone number, before arriving, and give an exact arrival time to avoid problems at check-in. Even when the restaurant is empty, you’re expected to sit at your assigned table. Switching without permission can bring a harsh reaction. Several customers have said they felt uncomfortable after staying at hotel Hofbräuhaus, so we now recommend looking at other places in town. After hearing these complaints from several customers, I unfortunately feel I have to leave a less positive review.

It’s a lovely spot, and the hotel, food, and service were all good. The staff were friendly too. My one issue was the very thin curtains in my front-facing room. Early sunlight came straight in and woke me up. Rooms at the back probably don’t have that problem.

The view from the balcony was amazing, and the people working there were really friendly and helpful. My only small reservation is that the room furniture felt a bit old-fashioned to me. Still, it’s a very nice hotel, and the rooms were clean.
