Bussjägerhof

We’ve been here in both winter for the ski lifts and summer for the family adventure park. The kids love the place, and the hosts are great too.

Our son got to help with the stable jobs every day, drive the tractor, ride horses, and even lead the alpacas. He’s 4, and there was plenty to keep him busy. The farm has ponies, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, goats, pigs, cows, and cats. We stayed a week with our caravan and were warmly welcomed, then shown around the whole farm. We also joined a relaxed torchlight walk with a barbecue and burger buffet afterward. There are lots of places for kids to play, including the playroom, hay barn, adventure forest, and outdoor vehicles. The farm lounge has drinks, coffee, and games for relaxing. You can rent all sorts of things, from sleds, skis, hiking boots, and shoes to diapers. If there’s enough snow, the farm’s own lift opens. Having a private bathroom with a shower and toilet included in the price was a real highlight for us. We explored nearby too, going to the pool and fairytale forest in Schongau, and skiing and taking the alpine coaster in Oberammergau. The quiet, natural setting and the warm, helpful staff made a big impression. We’re certain we’ll come back. Thanks for everything, dear Christoph and Steffi! ☺️

The kids had a new adventure each day, whether driving a tractor, feeding pigs, or riding ponies. They could get close to the friendly animals, which made for some unforgettable memories. Meanwhile, we adults could relax in the peaceful surroundings, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the lovingly kept grounds. We stayed in our camper, one of the three RV pitches the Erhard family offers, and were welcomed just as warmly as guests in the holiday apartments. Having both the freedom of camping and a farm stay was a great combination. The whole place feels relaxed and authentic, with a family atmosphere and lots of closeness to nature. It’s a lovely spot for families, or anyone who wants to unwind. Christoph and Steffi made us feel at home right away with their warm, easygoing way of hosting. You can tell they put a lot of heart into the place. Set in beautiful nature, Bussjägerhof felt like a little pocket of calm. We’ll definitely be back!

Park the caravan, step out, and start relaxing. There’s something fun for kids everywhere, and even though we had really bad weather, the indoor play options kept it from being a problem. Parents get to enjoy it too, with the sauna and natural swimming pool. It feels like a farm with a little luxury mixed in. We spent a week at one of the Bussjägerhof pitches. Five stars, and we’d definitely recommend it. Thanks!
