The food was a real highlight, with generous portions of delicious, good quality dishes at breakfast and dinner. It felt like the chef put a lot of care into it, and the waitress in traditional clothes was friendly and helpful. The hotel is part of a small traditional town and fits right in. I was there for a few days on a coach trip. My room was small, clean, and traditionally styled, with wooden furniture that made it feel cozy. There’s a shared balcony along the side of the building, which gives you a place to meet friends or family staying on the same floor. The view from my first-floor room wasn’t much, but one evening I heard men singing beautifully in the dining room below as church bells rang nearby. Sitting on the balcony then felt magical and peaceful. There’s a small parking area on site, and the free internet was fairly fast and reliable, which I sometimes have trouble finding. I had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere good and affordable nearby.
