Elaya hotel stuttgart boeblingen

The rooms are very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bartender especially knows his stuff: he takes orders quickly without being intrusive and pays attention to little things, like getting the foam on the beer just right. His cocktails are extraordinary. A great little hotel in the industrial area.

We're having a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Rosalia Soto keeps our room clean and well maintained. Islam at the front desk is kind and attentive to what we need. The service from the team reflects the good management of Miriam, the front desk manager, who provides impeccable customer service. I stayed at the Elaya for one night last December, and it was easily my worst experience in Germany. Room 214 had a strong smell of humidity. A few hours later, when I went to shower, cockroaches suddenly came out everywhere. I showed photos and videos at reception, but all they offered was another room. They did nothing else and offered no compensation. Stay away from this place.

We booked a 54m2 family apartment but were given barrier-free room 101. I have no issue with anyone, but guests should at least be told if they're getting a special room when they booked a standard one. When I asked reception to change it, the woman said the only standard room available was a 27m2 superior room. It cost over 20 Euro less, but when I asked about a refund she offered only free parking worth 10 Euro. I couldn't accept that. She then said that because I'd booked through their official website instead of directly with them, they couldn't do anything and it wasn't their fault. I booked on the official website, so apparently it's my fault the room didn't match the description. After a long argument, reception agreed to give us one free breakfast, but I had to pay another 21 Euro for the second person. The breakfast wasn't worth that at all. It was just standard, and when there are too many guests, you have to clear the dirty table left by the previous guests yourself, because there's only one woman working in the restaurant to look after everyone. Definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.
