Aparthotel Waterkant Suites in Börgerende

Really nice apartment.

The pool was pleasantly warm, and we had some wonderful days here with our dogs. Reception gave us a very friendly welcome, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and stylish. We’ll definitely return. Breakfast felt too expensive for what was on offer, and there wasn't much variety. Thankfully there’s a bakery around the corner, and the kitchen has everything you need.

It's easy to reach the beach from here, and the location is quiet and convenient, with parking on site. The pool was fine in the off-season, though it felt small for the number of apartments and got noisy. Even with just five people, it was packed. The sea view is debatable, but at least the beach is close. Our dealings with reception were really unpleasant. The staff were unfriendly and gave us a lot of inaccurate information. There were insects in the apartment, cleaning wasn't quite up to scratch, the bed was uncomfortable, and the furnishings were very basic.

We stayed at the Aparthotel Warenkant Suites again because it’s lovely here, and the Baltic Sea is just a very short walk away. But the service has slipped since our last visit. We brought our dogs, but there wasn’t even a bowl in the apartment this time. Bathrobes used to be free, but now they cost €10 each, and the ones we got were badly worn and had holes. The water dispenser in the sauna area is gone too, and some of the experience showers are broken.
