Pension Ostsee-Strand

It’s a small, basic guesthouse, nicely furnished and fine for sleeping and relaxing. Keep your expectations modest, though, it’s no grand hotel. I liked it well enough; it was OK. Have a good time and enjoy your holiday.

Breakfast and parking right outside the building were included in a reasonable price. My room had a double bed and bunk beds, so it would work for a solo trip or a family with two children. The staff even helped track down a piece of luggage I’d forgotten. Everyone I dealt with, both management and the on-site team, was very friendly. The rooms are simple but tasteful, clean, and comfortable. Despite the hot weather, my north-facing room on the top floor stayed pleasantly cool. The town feels relaxed, and you can reach the long beach in around 15-20 minutes by several routes, including a shady avenue. There are both textile and nudist sections.

We’d gladly stay here again. The price was good for what we got, with parking right outside, a small garden with places to sit, and a very extensive breakfast. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the management were friendly and helpful. Booking was straightforward, and we checked in using a key code. The beach takes a little longer to reach than the 400 meters measured as the crow flies, but it wasn’t an issue.

After a day riding the Baltic Sea Cycle Route, we stayed one night. The team was friendly and flexible, and arriving late was no trouble. We could leave our bikes in the locked hallway. Our room had new furniture and felt modern without being cold. The beds were comfortable, and the double bed plus bunk bed setup would suit a family with children. A generous breakfast was part of the price. I enjoyed the stay and would book here again if I’m in the area.
